DEFRAG
YOUR HARD DRIVE
As Windows stores
files on your hard
drive they become
muddled up. Defragmenting
the hard drive puts
the files in order,
which makes loading
files and programmes
faster.
Click “Start”,
Click “My
Computer”.
You will see your
main hard drive,
usually “Local
Disk C:” Right
click on the drive,
click “Properties”,
click “Tools”
and then click “Defragment
Now”. In the
window that opens,
click on the drive
you wish to defragment
and then click the
button “Defragment”. |
