Between Christmas and New Year, we received the letter on the right by email from James and Karen Ngugi, Heads of the Summit Schools in Kenya. |
| |
Perhaps a timely reminder as we all enter another tough economic year that, whilst we may be feeling the pinch, some communities (including many in the UK) exist far closer to the poverty line than we do. |
| |
In 2012, we hope that two of the Summit School teachers will be able to come to Cam Hopton in Gloucestershire, to share their living and learning ethos with the Cam Hopton teachers and children, and to learn about teaching practice in the UK. |

| Dear Lucille, |
| Greetings. |
| We hope you had a good Christmas Holiday. We are well. The weather has been hot and dusty but it started raining yesterday. |
| We want to thank you very, very much for this year's support to Summit Community and us too. We still cherish the memory of our visit to UK and the part you took to take us to places. May God continue to expand your boundaries. |
Thank you for the cards, they reached both schools on time, that was a great idea.
The school will open on Tuesday 3rd January 2012 we hope to start the year with vigour despite the high cost of food and everything else. |
Regards,
James and Karen |
